چکیده

The production of fuel hydrocarbons from CO2-neutral raw materials is a promising task at present. thermal dissolution biochar obtained by the method hydrothermal carbonization sawdust was studied. in tetralin (hydrogen donor solvent) studied different temperatures (350–450 °C) and with two types dilution mixture tetralin: 1/3 1/4. process proceeded without catalyst. It found that samples subjected to 425–450 °C had highest conversion yield liquid products. reaction temperature also significant effect on composition an increase led benzenes, both direct hexane fraction. A benzene more than 50% observed for fractions 450 °C. suggested possible positive abietates homogenization contributed high process. biochar/tetralin ratio effects products as well. An concentration during hydrocarbon purposes. This undoubtedly due large amount elemental hydrogen involved hydrogenation mixture.

Characteristics of Biochar Obtained by Hydrothermal Carbonization of Cellulose for Renewable Energy

The effect of hydrothermal carbonization on the properties of cellulose present in lignocellulosic biomass was investigated for converting it into a renewable energy resource with high energy recovery efficiency. The biochar obtained from cellulose subjected to hydrothermal carbonization showed a significant increase in its carbon content and a calorific value. 13C NMR spectroscopy showed that ...

Conversion of Municipal Solid Wastes into Biochar through Hydrothermal Carbonization

In this study, the hydrothermal treatment of municipal solid wastes (MSWs) for the production of biochar as a renewable solid fuel was investigated. The properties of surrogate MSWs and mixtures of newspaper and vegetables were greatly improved by hydrothermal treatment and were similar to those of coal-like fuel substances. Hydrothermal treatment increased the calorific value, the fixed carbon...

Physicochemical, Pyrolytic, and Combustion Characteristics of Hydrochar Obtained by Hydrothermal Carbonization of Biomass

Effects of the type of biomass and temperature, with longer residence time, on physicochemical characteristics of hydrochar were investigated. Different carbonization conditions were applied with the goal of producing hydrochars having better physicochemical properties. After the carbonization process, the pyrolysis and combustion behaviors of hydrochar were evaluated. The effect of temperature...
